Woodridge Bed and Breakfast's Reception Pavilion
We are pleased that you are considering the Woodridge Bed & Breakfast for your Event. We will work hard to help plan your event to perfection. At the Woodridge, we not only provide you with a lovely place to entertain but also provide you lodging for you're out of town guests. NOTE: Prices quoted are subject to change without notice. After your date is selected and a contract is signed, prices are locked in. Please book your wedding early. If we have booked any B&B guest rooms for the night of your wedding, we will not be able to book your wedding.
The Woodridge Way:
Ceremony: ½ hour
Join the many who have vowed their love under our Live Oaks. A perfect wedding deserves a perfect location and our garden is that perfect location. As he takes your hand in marriage, the sweet smells of the flora in bloom will fill the air and the background sounds of the fountain will set the mood for this wonderful union. Our white wrought iron gazebo is set under the canopy shade of our century old oaks, surrounded by beautiful gardens. A coordinator will assist though out the wedding to insure needs are met as agreed. The Officiant is a personal choice and not part of this agreement. If you need assistance in this regard, we will be happy to provide you with a list of qualified Officiants in the area. Yuoung children are not allowed except in the roll of "Ring Bearer" and/or "Flower Girl". A 30 minute Rehearsal time is allowed and will need to be scheduled with Woodridge.
Weddings can be held at 6:00 pm or after.
Reception: - 3 1/2 hours
All Receptions at the Woodridge are for "Adults Only".
Receptions with over 40 guests are limited to evenings after 6 PM, during the months of September through April. Weddings with 40 or fewer guests (including the wedding party), can be accomodated year round with our New Dinner Wedding package.Click to View Available Menu
After the formalities are over it is time to celebrate. Our 1800 sq. foot pavilion is designed just with that in mind. Adjacent to our gardens, your guests will get settled while important final photos are taken in the gazebo. Tables for 6 are arranged surrounding the dance floor with additional casual seating arranged around the inside of the pavilion. For larger weddings, some tables may be arranged on the grounds outside the pavilion. The Woodridge Bed and Breakfast provides quality linen tablecloths, table toppers and silk flowers in sconces on the lattice panels of the pavilion. The wedding party with prior arrangement with Woodridge may add additional tasteful decorations. All receptions must conclude by 10PM on Friday or Saturday, 9PM on all other days.
Catering:
Woodridge works in conjunction with one of the area's finest caterers to provide a selection of fine foods you will find delectable. Once the date is set, we will provide you with you menu choices to select from. We take care of the rest. The buffet and guests will be taken care of by 2 wait staff. Sorry self catering is not allowed in compliance with the Woodridge B&B's liability insurance policy..
Cake:
A cake allowance of $2.00 per guest is included with your package. You will have the opportunity to select the perfect cake(s) from our on-line catelog and order form. Any amount over the allowance is payable directly to our exclusivre bakery in accordance with their policies.
Parking:
The Woodridge Bed and Breakfast offers adequate on-site parking for events with up to 75 guests (38 cars). Parking attendants will guide your guests to parking spots. For larger groups we park overflow guests nearby and operate a shuttle.
Guest Suites:
Our Five lovely suites, which can accommodate up to 13 will be reserved for your use. As part of your agreement, you commit to the rental of all of our suites. There is a 2 night minimum rental for weddings on Friday or Saturday. We will be happy to provide you with information cards to send to your family & friends from out of town. Any suites not reserved by 30 days prior to the wedding must be guaranteed by you. If requests are made within the 30 day period, we will be happy to work with you on this matter. Options for guestroom use include bridal party dressing room, honeymoon suite, gift of stay to bridal attendants.
Only overnight guests are permitted on the second floor unless prior arrangements have been approved. Of course, overnight guests are served a grand gourmet breakfast each morning of their stay.
A 20% discount will apply to our rate for those dates. Additional nights can be added at the same savings.
Extras (not included with package quotes) -
Music & Entertainment:
Music preference is as individual as the couple. Background music is provided at no charge but if you would like live music, Woodridge has a list of musicians to fit most any budget and music style, which you may choose. Woodridge adheres to Local laws that dictate volume levels. D.J. s are not permitted. There is a piped in music system that can play your pre-recorded CDs. Additionally, we have +- 2000 populars music recordings available at no cost. Please provide a list of songs from our list at least 30 days in advance.
Alcohol:
This wedding package is non-alcoholic. If you would like alcohol, we will secure a licensed Bartender. This will be at an additional charge. The wedding party will provide all alcohol to be served. NO SELF SERVE or BYOB allowed*. Also, cash bars are not permitted*. The Woodridge Bed and Breakfast assumes NO RESPONSIBILITY for any alcohol related matters and requires the renter to sign a statement accepting responsibility for all alcohol related matters. (*as required bt St. Tammany Parish) If you want a large selection of alcohol, 2 bartenders may be required.
Security:
The Woodridge Bed and Breakfast requires on-site police security during events if Alcohol is present and/or for parties of 75 or more. Woodridge will secure security on your behalf once one or both of the above criteria is confirmed. Payment is your responsibility and is given directly to the officer. (Security will cover the entire event time, plus ½ hour prior and ½ hour after event.) Woodridge reserves the right to have anyone removed from the premises for drunkenness, damaging property, etc.

Damage Deposit $200.00:
Submitted at with final payment prior to the event in addition to and not part of the rental charge. The renter should expect a full refund of the deposit unless the Pavilion, Guestrooms, Common Areas, Grounds are damaged or items are missing from same areas. If you book a wedding/reception at the Woodridge B&B, and damages exceed the amount collected in the damage deposit, the person(s) signing the rental agreement is liable for damages.
Payment terms:
A deposit of 1/3 of the total price will hold the Woodridge Bed and Breakfast for the selected date and the 5 quest suites. The deposit is due at signing of our user agreement. Due to rapidly increasing costs, once your deposit is submitted, your price quote is locked in. The second payment of 1/3 is due 90 days prior to the wedding. The balance and security deposit shall be due 30 days prior to the event date, along with the final count. Additionally, payment of all unreserved suites is due. A cancellation fee of $50.00 will be taken on all cancellations, with NO refunds issued within one month of the event.
